Mini-Symposium

B. Control Methods for Mechanical Systems

The mini-symposium is interdisciplinary and is aimed at researchers and engineers working with applications of control theory to Applied Mechanics. It creates a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present the latest research, results and ideas in the areas of control theory for mechanical and mechatronics systems.

Topics of interest to this Mini-Symposium include but are not limited to:

1. Applications of robust and optimal control to mechanical systems;
2. Noise and vibration control;
3. Robotics;
4. Control of mechatronics systems;
5. Control of nonlinear and/or time-varying, distributed structural systems;
6. Control of micro-mechanical systems;
7. Automotive control systems;
8. Aerospace control systems.
