Call for Papers

Papers are invited on the listed topics and in other areas within the Mechanics scope. Please submit a one-page abstract in PDF format no later than March 30, 2009 (extended deadline).

A Word template to generate the abstract is available here.

Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to submit a full-length paper with a maximum of six pages no later than June 29, 2009 (extended deadline).

Acceptance of the final paper will be based on a peer-review and contingent on presenting the final paper at PACAM XI.

Accepted full-length papers will be published in electronic format and the corresponding one-page abstract will be published in Volume 13 of the PACAM series.

Registered and attending individuals will receive both a soft bound-copy of the Book of Abstracts and a portable eletronic device containing the proceedings of PACAM XI.

Presenters of selected papers will be invited to submit an extension of the work for possible publication in the Journal of Mechanics of Materials and Structures (www.jomms.org).
